THE BLIGH MUSEUM OF PACIFIC EXPLORATION

Also located in Adventure Bay road. The museum displaying historic maps, books, documents, paintings and drawing and other artifacts relating to the landings at Adventure Bay by famous Abel Tasman over James Cook and William Bligh as well as the French explorers and scientists D’Entrecasteaux, Flinders, Baudin and many more explorers.

THE HISTORY ROOM

The History Room is an excellent resource for learning about Bruny Island’s past. If you’re looking for Bruny history, this location has some records dating back to the early 1800’s. Come and see some old displays ranging from unique bottles to transport displays such as old ferries and family trees.
